Getting 7-zip

7-zip is a free compression tool, that can shrink down debug trace or other files so they're much smaller and easier to mail. Get it from the download links here.

Using 7-zip

If you're using a mail program like Outlook, the easiest thing to do is to go to where you're storing the debug trace, and use right-click:

If that doesn't work, then you can use the Add to option (just one higher up) to create a .ZIP file, then attach that to an email like you would with any other file.
