You can configure the plugin to send messages when it does various actions. You can get to this configuration from the Feature tab:

Then you get this:

You select the messages using the drop-down list. For each of these you can:

  • Enable/disable sending the message.
  • Decide whether to autosend the message. This will send it immediately; otherwise you have a chance to edit the message and then send it.
  • Configure the content of the subject line that you want to use.
  • Configure the content of the message body that you wish to send.

These messages only support the following substitution strings:

  • $nummembers
  • $groupname
  • $groupurl
  • $myname
  • $memberid

They will get recorded if you have the Recording Moderator Messages function enabled.

Bulk Web Only to Special Notices

This is when you run the bulk operation to change from Web Only (or No Email) to Special Notices. Since there will be a lot of these, you probably want to ensure that:

  • You have autosend enabled.
  • You're Sending by Email.
  • You have it configured to Close new tab after successful send.

Mail Multiple Joiner

This configures the message that comes up when you select the Mail member option during the periodic member check.

If your message isn't set to autosend, then you won't be able to send it while the periodic check is still happening - you'll see other popups. But once that's finished, you'll have new tabs with the mails ready for you to look at and send.
