Access Keys

To use this function, you need an access key. If you already have one, use that; if you don't, or don't know what they are, see Access Keys.

Accessing MyGroup

This can be accessed by going to https://secure.modplugin.org/mygroup

You will need to provide both a login and password to access mygroup.

Your Login is your groupname (e.g. eastbourne_freecycle) Your Password is your Access Key (see above).

What does it provide

MyGroup will provide Additional Statistics for your group. It is currently still very much in its infancy and under development.

How does it provide it?

Statistics are an opt-in item.

In order to opt-in, you must send an invite from your group to stats@modplugin.org The account will then accept your invitation and start collecting statistics about posted messages.

What information does it hold?

For each message received, it holds the eMail Address and Yahoo ID, the date of the message and the message type (Wanted/Offer/Taken/Received/Admin). It does not retain any other information from the message - such as the subject or text.

Who Do I ask about it?

The development of this site is not done by Ed, it is done by Nigel Mundy, the developer of Modplugin.org, and he can be contacted at nigel@spam-filter.org.uk
