Configuring CC for each group

If you moderate multiple groups, you might want to CC your messages to a different address for each group. Of course, if you want to CC them to the -owner address for each one, then you can use that function, but you can configure a different CC address for each.

You configure this by selecting the Per group option - click on the empty circle next to the Per Group button, so that it fills in. It should look like this:

Then click on the Per group button itself. You'll see another configuration dialog like this:

You must configure a mapping for each group you moderate.

To add a mapping:

• Fill in the Full group URL box.
  • This should be your full url, of the form http://groups.yahoo.com/group/EdinburghFreegle.
  • No trailing slash.
  • Don't enter the URL to the pending or message.
  • Don't just enter the group name (e.g. EdinburghFreegle).
• Fill in the CC address. This is an email address, of the form user@domain.com.
• Click the Add button.
• Click the Save Changes button.

To delete a mapping:

• Select it in the list.
• Click the Delete button.
• Click the Save Changes button.

To modify a mapping:

• Add a new one as above.
• Delete the old one as above.
