Configure groups to monitor
From PluginWiki
By default the plugin does its stuff on groups with freegle, freecycle or reuseit in the name. But you can change this from Features->More Advanced Options.
(This has moderationplugin|ehtest|ehuktest in the first box, but you can't see all of it.)
What do the boxes mean?
- If you want to monitor extra groups, then put them in the first box.
- If you only want to monitor specific groups (for example, some Freecycle but not all, and other non-Freecycle groups), and not all Freecycle ones, then put them in the second box. These must have the full name of the group, e.g. EdinburghFreegle not just Edinburgh.
- And if you want to exclude some groups (for example, Freecycle groups you're not a moderator of), then put them in the third box.
In all three cases:
- Don't put the full URL - just the bit at the end. So for example, for http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ehtest put ehtest.
- Use | (a vertical bar [or "pipe" symbol, usually on the same key as the backslash "\"]) to separate multiple groups.
When you have similar named groups e.g. StroudFreecycle, and StroudFreecycleModerators, but you only want the former to match and not the latter, you can (allegedly) do this by putting a $ at the end.
So StroudFreecycle$ will only match StroudFreecycle, and not the moderators group too.
Remember that if you use the Check Recently Joined Members function you will then be sharing some information about your memberships.
