Checking for phone numbers

Some groups don't allow phone numbers on the group, to protect privacy. You can configure the plugin to flag up sequences of numbers. This works on the Pending page, and the Messages page if you have content preview turned on for that page.

You do this from the Checking tab:

Put in here the minimum number of consecutive digits you want to flag. It'll ignore spaces, brackets and dashes, because people often put those in phone numbers. If it finds something, it'll flag it up like this:
