Yahoo can publicise your activity on groups. See here.

If you don't want this to happen, the plugin can stop it happening on groups you moderate. You'll be prompted for this when you first install (or upgrade to a release containing this function).

If you want to change it later, go to Features->Even More Advanced Options:
